Privacy policy

This policy explains how EverydayFieldbook, publisher of Everyday Fieldbook, handles information on this website.

Information you provide

If you email us, we receive the address you use and the content and attachments you send. We use that information to respond, investigate a correction or accessibility report, protect the site, and keep an appropriate business record. Please do not send sensitive personal information.

Basic website data

Our hosting and security provider may process request data such as IP address, browser type, device information, requested URL, referring page, timestamps, and security signals to deliver and protect the site. Server and security logs may be retained for a limited operational period under the provider’s settings and legal obligations.

Cookies and local storage

The publication does not require an account and the built-in article search runs in your browser. We do not use a cookie to create a reader profile for that search.

Advertising

Google AdSense and AFS scripts are not currently enabled in this build. Before any advertising service is activated, this policy, consent controls where required, and the public advertising disclosures must be reviewed against the actual configuration.

External links

Our articles link to government agencies, standards bodies, and other external websites. Those sites set their own privacy practices. A link does not transfer their data to us, but your browser will connect to the destination when you choose it.

Sharing and retention

We do not sell personal information. We may share limited data with service providers that host, secure, or operate the site; when required by law; or to protect rights and safety. Email and operational records are retained only as long as reasonably needed for the purpose collected, legal obligations, security, and dispute resolution.

Your questions and choices

For a privacy question or request, contact privacy@everydayfieldbook.com. Privacy rights vary by location. We may need enough information to verify and respond to a request without collecting unnecessary data.

Changes

We review this policy whenever analytics, advertising, forms, consent tools, or hosting data practices materially change, and we update the policy when those changes affect visitors.
